It is well known that high quality raw milk is the essential for producing high quality dairy products. In this regard, Treasure of Plateau never slacks off. As early as the beginning of the establishment, Treasure of Plateau learned from the advanced practices of raw milk collection at home and abroad and established strict standards for raw milk acquisition and normative procedure for raw milk collection.
 
In two milk source bases of Tibet and Sichuan Tibet region, Treasure of Plateau has planned the coverage radius in scientific way based on the distribution of natural villages, grasslands and yak population, and established the centralized milk station that is well equipped with inspection and testing facilities. The company has completely changed original unhygienic milking method of the local herdsmen through distribution of uniform stainless steel milk bucket and milking machine, regular distribution of white coat, latex gloves, disposable sterile hats and masks and other milking clothing, training for equipment operation, raw milk sealing and storage methods and transport precautions, standardizing of the milking process and organizing of routing inspection and sampling check. Thus, the pollution hazard is eliminated from the source of raw milk.
 
At the same time, when acquiring the raw milk, Treasure of Plateau strictly follows the inspection and testing procedures and demanding elimination mechanism to eliminate any possible omission, thus ensuring raw milk access to production line is high quality.
 

Standardized production

Only standardized workshop and production management can guarantee the stable quality of product and put an end to pollution and food safety problems.
 
In Tibet, Treasure of Plateau is the only imported dairy processing enterprise in possession of imported modern equipment. Its production and processing bases are constructed in the land 3500~4500 meters above sea level in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau with ecological nature and clean air and away from pollution.
 
The company has a modern food grade standard production workshop, and has introduced the Swedish Tetra Pak UHT milk production lines as well as advanced milk powder and butter production line. Its production base in Lhasa is capable of processing 30t/d fresh milk and producing 10,000t/a fresh milk production. Its production base in Ruoergai has daily capacity of 100 tons of fresh milk. All the bases have passed the certification of ISO9001 international quality management system and the ISO14001 international environmental management system which is known as the "green barriers pass" for the enterprises.
 
In addition, Treasure of Plateau also follows the principle of "everyone has duty, everywhere has the standard and everything has the norm", and has formulated the strict production process and management standards so as to improve production management ability and realize the full- dynamic management of the whole production process. As a result, all kinds of problems can be detected and solved from time to time, and all types of safety and health hazards can also be eliminated by regular inspection, repair, cleaning and maintenance of production equipment.
 

Aseptic packaging

Tetra Pak initiated aseptic technology in 1960s, which was listed as one of the most important food science innovations in the twentieth Century and permanently changed the liquid food industry. As early as the beginning of establishment, Treasure of Plateau introduced Tetra Pak UHT milk product production line, where the liquid milk is sterilized and filled into Tetra Pak package, and can remain aseptic for one year even without taking anti-corrosion or refrigerating measures.
 
By this technique, Treasure of Plateau successfully retains the milk color, fine quality, natural flavor and nutritional value, so that consumers can enjoy original pure yak milk from the Tibetan Plateau, no matter where they are.

 


Inspection and testing

Scientific inspection and testing procedures are important guarantee for high quality yak milk. From the milk source, production, packaging to the factory, Treasure of Plateau strictly controls the quality of the produces in every link of production and processing through scientific inspection and testing procedures.
 
So far, Treasure of Plateau has established sound detection and test procedure and complete inspection rooms for personnel and equipment have been respectively built in Lhasa and Ruoergai production base. Advanced detection equipment, including high performance liquid chromatograph, atomic absorption spectrum instrument, atomic fluorescence photometer, heating thermostatic incubator, have been introduced to conduct physical and chemical detection of raw milk, semi-finished products, finished products and conduct detection test of decades of items such as pollutant, fungus, toxin and microbe. Every batch of products leaving the factory must be inspected during production, processing and the final production to ensure the safety of every drop of milk.
